Industrial air curtains, Insect barrier air curtains are heavy duty air curtains. It is made for preventing insects and it blows air at the velocity of 20 – 22 m/sec. For normal usage industrial air curtains can fitted at 11 to 12 feet height. The same air curtain has to be placed at the level of 8 ft for preventing insects. This air curtains are operated with 3 phase power only. They are effective in preventing insect’s entry through doorway, but the insect barrier air curtains should be installed below eight feet door height to get sufficient and satisfactory result. It is used in pharmaceutical industry, food processing industry, meat processing industry and where the flying insects are a problematic issue.
