These are Flameproof Digital Clocks housed in Aluminium LM- 6 Body Certified by CMRI, Dhanbad for use in Gas Group Areas I, II, II A & II B. Also, available are optional Master & Slave Synchronized Clock Systems working on RS485 Modbus Communication. The slave clocks (upto 120 Nos.) can be connected to the master clock via a 2 core communication cable multidrop network & the master clock time is synchronized with all the slaves. All the clocks in the synchronized clock network show the exact same time right upto the seconds. Optionally, the master clock can be a GPS Clock which gives high precision satellite time & hence the whole master – slave network will display the same accurate GPS time.
Flameproof Clocks are available in 2 Sizes of Display – 2.5” & 4” Height 7 Segment Super Bright Red LED Displays. In the 2.5” Height Display clocks, all the 6 Digits (HH:MM:SS) are 7 Segment Red LED Displays. In the 4” Height Display clocks, the Hours & Minutes (HH:MM) are 4” High 7 Segment Red LED Displays & the seconds (SS) are 2” High 7 Segment Red LED Displays.
Time is accurately maintained in the Digital Clocks even in the case of power cut by the inbuilt clock backup battery. In the case of GPS Clocks, the time accuracy is +/-1 second, since the time is synchronized to the Global Positioning Satellite time. In the case of Non GPS clocks, the time accuracy is +/-120 seconds (2 minutes) per year.
In the Optional Master - Slave Clock Network, the master clock is a 2.5" or 4” High Super Bright 7 Segment Display Panel with 6 displays, 2 each for Hours, Minutes & seconds. The slave clocks have a 4" High super bright 7 segment red LED Display with exceptional depth & clarity for visibility over a long distance. The slave clocks can be at a maximum distance of upto 1200 mtrs. (1.2 Km.) & yet show accurate synchronized time, same as the master clock.
The Slave Clocks are available in Stainless Steel Outer Plate Enclosures for Clean Rooms or pharma manufacturing blocks & also Flameproof Aluminium LM-6 Body Certified by CMRI, Dhanbad for use in Gas Group Areas I, II, IIA & IIB. Overall stainless steel enclosure boxes in S.S.316 for the flameproof clocks are also available.

Applications that maintain their own secure logs can produce a clean audit trail when all clocks are synchronized to “good” time. Logs incorporating “good” time are able to produce a valid representation of the time order of events that have taken place in the application. With time synchronization to UTC, log files from all computers and applications will be based on a single accurate and secure time source, so there is an accurate representation of activity on the entire network no matter where on a globally distributed network the logged events occur.
